Memory Lane Terms of Use - SpaceSocks Studios

Effective date. October 21, 2026.

Agreement. These Terms of Use apply to the Memory Lane iPhone app (“Memory Lane: Photo Restore”) from SpaceSocks Studios. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA); these terms add to it. By downloading or using Memory Lane you agree to both. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Memory Lane does. Memory Lane restores, enhances and colorizes photos you choose, using AI processing on our servers (with your permission) or a basic restoration on your device. Cloud restoration needs an internet connection.

Free use. Without a subscription you can try a watermarked preview of an AI restoration and use the basic on-device restore. Saving in full HD without a watermark, colorizing, sharing and reveal videos require Memory Lane Pro.

Memory Lane Pro subscription. Memory Lane Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly at $9.99 per week with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, or yearly at $49.99 per year (US prices; the App Store shows your local price before you confirm). Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Memory Lane → Cancel Subscription. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Plan allowances. Memory Lane Pro has no per-photo charges, but to keep the service fast and fair it has a plan allowance: 50 HD restorations per week on the weekly plan, 200 per year on the yearly plan, and one Bring to Life video per month (10 HD restorations and no videos during a free trial). Free previews are limited per install. We may adjust limits to prevent abuse or excessive automated use, and we'll keep them generous for normal family use.

Your photos and your responsibility. You keep all rights to the photos you add. Only use photos you own or have permission to use, and make sure you have the right to restore, edit and share them, including permission from the people shown where the law requires it. Don't use Memory Lane for unlawful content, sexual content involving minors, intimate images of anyone without their consent, or to deceive, defame or harass. You give us a limited permission to process your photos solely to provide the restoration you request; we don't keep them afterward (see the Privacy Policy).

AI results. Restoration and colorization are produced by AI. The app rebuilds missing or damaged detail and estimates colors that the original photo never recorded, so results may add, change or omit details, and faces, colors and backgrounds may not match reality. Results are artistic reconstructions, not accurate historical, forensic, legal or identification records. Review results before you rely on or share them, and always keep your original photos.

Acceptable use. Don't try to reverse engineer, overload, scrape or bypass the limits or security of the app or our service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing service.

Changes and availability. Features, AI providers, limits and prices may change as the app improves. We'll give notice in the app or on this page before a change that reduces what a current subscription includes. The service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

Disclaimer and liability. Memory Lane is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent allowed by law, SpaceSocks Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of any photo, so keep your originals and backups. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Ending use. You can stop using Memory Lane at any time by deleting the app (and canceling any subscription). We may suspend access to cloud restoration for anyone who breaks these terms.

Changes and contact. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions: support@spacesocksstudios.com.
