Tiny warriors. Big feuds.

Turn-based hex battles with a cartoon cast and a card collection to build your army. For Windows and Mac, on Steam.

About the game

Feudlings: turn-based hex battles with a cartoon cast and a card collection to build your army.

Choose a starting faction, then recruit units from all of them: knights and archers, skeletons and banshees, imps and cinder witches, pixies and unicorns, crab knights and mermaids, gingerbread soldiers and cake golems.

Battles are quick and readable. Faster units act first, and a roll of the big d20 decides who opens. Big units take up two hexes, so placement matters before the first move. Bunched-up enemies invite a Fireball; allies standing together can share a Healing Circle. Rarer skills come with warm-ups, cooldowns or a single use per battle, so timing is half the fight. Every week a new twist shakes up the rules, like Scarce Medicine, which halves all healing.

Between battles, build your army your way. Combine three matching cards into a rarer one (Common, Rare, Epic, then Legendary), equip skills and gems, mix factions freely, and save your favorite armies and formations. Now and then a chest holds a Shiny card. Win on the enemy's ground to claim their battlefield, and bring a pet along: it wanders your half of the field, cheers when a foe falls, does tricks and naps.

Play the computer, a friend on the same computer in Couch Versus, or rivals online through Steam. The game opens with How the Feud Began, an animated storybook told by a warm old narrator.

No pay-to-win. Every card, skill and gem is earned by playing: gold from battles and daily quests buys chests of new cards, or cosmetics (card sets, pets and pet hats, dice, name plates, heraldry and battle flair) that only change how things look. Cosmetics can also be bought with Royal Socks, an optional premium currency.

How it was made

Most of Feudlings was made with the help of generative AI tools, under the developer's design and direction: its artwork (units, cards, battlefields, icons and effects), music, sound effects, most of its character and announcer voices, its translations and much of its code. The developer designed the game and directed, reviewed, edited and assembled everything. The game does not generate any AI content while you play.
